National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

NPORS accredited training

We are one of NPORS accredited Training Providers. NPORS is one of the UK’s leading accrediting bodies for Lift Trucks recognised by the Health & Safety Executive. Their main objective is to allow NPORS accredited Training Providers a flexible approach to meet the needs of the employer to help and assist in providing an adequately trainined workforce within the UK.

Since NPORS was formed in 1992, they have accredited over 1000 instructors and training providers who operate on national and international projects. During this time they have worked hard to ensure that appropriate training and assessments are being delivered to employers in the Construction, Utilities, Distribution and Warehousing, Ports and Marine, Rail and Agricultural Sectors. NPORS have currently registered over 160,000 operators who have been employed across all UK industry sectors.

The Health and Safety Executive recognise NPORS as competent to accredit and monitor organisations to train instructors and/or to train, test and certificate operators.

Individual Learning Account (ILA) Funding

ILA approved training

We are an ILA (Individual Learning Account) approved Centre. ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government Scheme which helps you to pay for your learning. To be eligible for this funding, learners must be aged 16 or over and ordinarily resident in Scotland. Currently ILA Scotland is targeted to individuals who have an annual income of £22,000 per year or less. Funding of £200 per year is available to eligible learners. EAL (EMTA Awards Ltd)

EAL accredited trainingWe are accredited by EAL deliver NVQ’s and SVQ’s. These are also embedded in the Modern Apprenticeship programme that we run.

EAL is the specialist employer-recognised awarding organisation for the engineering, manufacturing, building services and related sectors.

VQs are work based qualifications and are a great way to give staff the knowledge and skills to do their job and meet established industry standards.

IOSHIOSH Accredited Training

We have approval from IOSH to delivery the Managing Safely Award

The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) is a partnering agreement between the Ministry of Defence and Right Management Ltd, who are global career development and outplacement specialists and part of the ManpowerGroup.

The CTP provides resettlement services for those leaving the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and Marines. Regardless of time served, all members of the Armed Forces can benefit from CTP support when leaving Service.Accredited Training
